Drunk driving accident in Pennsylvania leads to conviction

A May 28, 2014, car accident has finally led to a conviction and at least some semblance of justice for the family of the victim, according to local sources. Pennsylvania authorities found a 43-year-old man guilty for his role in a drunk driving accident that claimed the life of a 34-year-old man two years ago. Thankfully, the family will be able to file a wrongful death suit against the driver to supplement what they feel was a sentence not befitting his crime. 

Child killed in drunk driving accident in Pennsylvania

A 6-year-old child has been struck and killed by an individual police believe may have been intoxicated at the time of the accident, according to reports. The tragic crash, which Pennsylvania police are calling a drunk driving accident, happened the night of Sept. 26 as the little girl was playing in a friend's driveway. The 20-year-old man responsible for the crash is in custody. 

Drunk driving accident under investigation in Pennsylvania

A major Bucks County road was closed for several hours following a serious car accident on the night of March 19, according to local law enforcement. A total of three cars were involved in what Pennsylvania police are calling a possible drunk driving accident. At this time, no individuals have been charged, but police are still waiting for the results of a toxicology test. 

Drunk driving accident kills 2 in Pennsylvania

A 25-year-old man stands accused of vehicular homicide after a fatal accident in Exton, according to local sources. Pennsylvania police are calling the incident a drunk driving accident, which claimed the lives of two local teenagers. The man is currently being held against a $75,000 bond in advance of a criminal trial. 

Drunk driving accident leads to guilty verdict

A man who has been convicted of killing another man because he was intoxicated behind the wheel has been sentenced to a prison term, according to local sources. Pennsylvania authorities convicted the 41-year-old man after a drunk driving accident killed a local father. The man will now face up to 10 years in a state prison. 

Man injured in alleged Pennsylvania drunk driving accident

At a jury trial in Pennsylvania, a man stands accused of being the alleged drunk pick-up truck driver who was responsible for an accident that occurred in November 2012. He is facing several charges related to the drunk driving accident that resulted in severe personal injuries to a man in a wheelchair. The victim's wife asserts that her husband is suffering constant pain and mental trauma as a result of the accident.

2 Pennsylvania police hurt in alleged drunk driving accident

A suspected drunk driver is in custody following a serious crash on Schuylkill Expressway in the early morning of Sept. 14, according to local sources.  Two Pennsylvania State Troopers were injured in the alleged drunk driving accident that saw a vehicle crash into a patrol car.  The driver of the vehicle in question has been charged with multiple infractions as of this report. 

Motorcycle Ride Turns to Tragedy in Bucks County

Over the weekend, a couple's motorcycle ride turned to tragedy in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, when a drunk driver collided with a motorcycle occupied by Carl "C.J." Polichetti III, and his wife.  C.J. was fatally killed and his wife was last reported as having suffered life-threatening injuries.

$100,000 bail set for driver after fatal drunk driving accident

At a preliminary hearing for a man who allegedly caused the death of two people and injured another, a County District Attorney in Pennsylvania said that the tragedy emphasized the fact that one should never drive while impaired. The tragedy of this drunk driving accident is escalated by the fact that the accident claimed the life of the accused man's fiance and also a lifelong friend. In addition, he now has to face the only survivor of the accident in court.
